Durable Aluminium & Colorbond® Construction
Located in the Southern Tablelands, just an hour northeast of Canberra, the Collector Wind Farm is a landmark renewable energy project featuring over 50 turbines. With an annual energy output of approximately 528 GWh, this facility provides enough electricity to power around 80,000 average homes across New South Wales, making it a major contributor to the state’s sustainable energy goals.
Pergola Land was engaged to design and construct the connecting walkways for the newly built site offices and warehouse facilities. The brief required solutions that would withstand harsh weather conditions, be long-lasting, and require minimal maintenance, while also complementing the industrial site environment.
For this project, we selected high-quality aluminium framing and Colorbond® roofing, chosen for their durability, strength, and longevity. The aluminium framework provided a lightweight yet robust structure, capable of withstanding the elements and daily use, while the Colorbond® roofing ensured reliable protection against rain, wind, and UV exposure.
The resulting walkways are not only functional and safe, but also visually cohesive, enhancing the site’s professional appearance. By combining strong materials with expert construction, Pergola Land delivered a solution that supports both the operational needs of the wind farm and the long-term resilience of the facilities.
This project highlights Pergola Land’s ability to deliver industrial-scale outdoor solutions that balance functionality, durability, and design, whether for commercial, industrial, or residential projects.
