Family Oasis – Insulated Pergola

This family-focused backyard has been given a much-needed transformation — now offering the perfect setting for watching the kids play soccer or climb on the play equipment, all from the comfort of a modern alfresco retreat.

Pergola Land removed the original timber pergola with its dated Laserlite roof and shade sail to make way for a custom-built insulated gable pergola. Constructed over the existing brick flooring, the new structure features a sleek, powder-coated white aluminium frame that complements the home’s exterior beautifully.

To enhance both functionality and aesthetics, we added a side wall panel and fixed slat screening. This clever addition allows outdoor equipment and storage to be kept neatly out of sight while still promoting airflow and maintaining an open feel.

An automated e-blind was also installed on one side, providing flexible protection from the elements and making the space usable year-round — whether it’s for entertaining or simply relaxing while the kids enjoy the backyard.
