The original pergola had become outdated and visually heavy, with dark metal roof sheets and oversized rafters that made the poolside space feel enclosed and dated. The brief was to create a more refined architectural feature that would complement the home while opening the area to light and outdoor living.

A key feature of this project was working with the property’s existing oversized rendered columns. Rather than replacing them, we incorporated them into the new design, allowing the pergola to retain the character of the home while introducing a more contemporary and sophisticated structure.
