This South Turramurra home has been completely reimagined with a multi-zone backyard transformation designed for relaxed family living, entertaining and long summer days by the pool.

The homeowners wanted more than a standard outdoor area. With a growing family and a love of hosting friends, they needed a backyard that could work beautifully for everyday meals, weekend gatherings and quiet afternoons outdoors.

The original bulky timber-framed pergola was removed and replaced with a large insulated pergola, instantly opening up the space and creating a cleaner, more modern connection to the newly built swimming pool. The result is a generous covered entertaining and dining area with uninterrupted views across the backyard.

For the dining and entertaining zone, the Pergola Land team installed aluminium decking to create a spacious, low-maintenance area made for outdoor meals, family gatherings and easy everyday use. The layout allows plenty of room for the built-in outdoor kitchen and dining table, while still keeping side access to the home clear for practical storage.

Beside the pool, our team also constructed a separate poolside alfresco area – a relaxed retreat designed for lounging, shade and privacy. White framing, bold posts, insulated roofing, aluminium decking and privacy screening all come together to create a sleek modern finish that feels fresh, functional and inviting.
